Senior Analyst – Subscriber Lifecycle & Advanced Analytics
Role Summary
Seeking a Senior Analyst to drive deep, insight-led analytics across the subscriber lifecycle. This role is highly hands-on, focused on analyzing conversion, retention, churn, and lifetime value using large-scale datasets. The ideal candidate brings strong SQL expertise, sharp analytical thinking, and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Advanced SQL skills (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, cohort analysis)
- Strong experience with Tableau or similar BI tools
- Proven experience in subscription, lifecycle, or retention analytics
- Ability to analyze churn, retention, renewals, and subscriber behavior
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret and explain data clearly
- Experience working with large, structured datasets (Snowflake or similar)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple analytics initiatives
- ~5+ years of relevant analytics experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform deep-dive analysis across subscriber lifecycle metrics (conversion, churn, retention, LTV)
- Write complex SQL queries across subscription, transaction, and engagement datasets
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards to track performance and trends
- Identify key drivers of subscriber behavior and revenue performance
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
- Support data preparation for advanced analytics and modeling initiatives
- Validate and reconcile datasets to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Identify gaps in data and recommend improvements to analytics processes
Nice to Have
- Python for data analysis or modeling support
- Exposure to predictive modeling or data science workflows
- Experience with dbt or Airflow
- Experience in SVOD, media, or digital subscription businesses
