Scrum Master (Broker-Dealer / Wealth Management Industry Exp )
Overview
Seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery within a financial services environment, specifically supporting broker-dealer and wealth management initiatives. This role will drive Scrum best practices, remove blockers, and ensure consistent delivery across cross-functional teams.
Must Haves
- 5+ years of Scrum Master experience in Agile environments
- Hands-on experience within Broker-Dealer and/or Wealth Management domains
- Proven ability to lead Scrum ceremonies and drive Agile maturity
- Strong experience working with Product Owners and engineering teams
- Ability to remove impediments and manage team delivery effectively
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews)
- Coach teams on Agile best practices and drive continuous improvement
- Partner with Product Owners to support backlog refinement and prioritization
- Remove blockers and proactively manage risks and dependencies
- Foster team self-organization and accountability
- Ensure delivery aligns with timelines, quality standards, and business goals
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe
- Experience supporting multiple teams in a matrixed environment
- Background in financial services regulatory environments
