Senior Technical Program Manager

Identity Platforms | Consumer Applications | High-Visibility Role

Overview

Seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale, high-impact initiatives focused on Identity Profiles and cross-application unification within a complex consumer-facing ecosystem.

This is a high-touch, high-visibility role requiring deep cross-team coordination across engineering, product, architecture, and platform teams. The role supports the merging and orchestration of large-scale applications to create a unified consumer experience.

The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, thrives in ambiguity, and can drive execution across multiple engineering teams without direct authority.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Experienced TPM supporting software engineering teams (primary role)
  • Scrum Master experience (secondary but helpful)
  • Comfortable operating in highly ambiguous environments
  • Strong product sense with understanding of how incremental enhancements roll into major releases
  • Ability to break down complex problems for stakeholder clarity
  • Operates with urgency, organization, and disciplined execution

Must Haves

Technical Program Leadership

  • 7+ years leading large-scale, enterprise software development programs
  • Proven experience delivering complex, ambiguous, highly technical initiatives
  • Strong background supporting backend/API-driven platforms
  • Experience in identity, profile management, authentication, or large consumer platforms highly preferred
  • Experience operating in high-availability, performance-driven environments

Agile & Sprint Execution

  • Strong sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery forecasting experience
  • Ability to forecast multiple sprints ahead and maintain roadmap hygiene
  • Experience working with engineering teams that require structured Agile discipline
  • Hands-on creation of tickets, delivery plans, and dependency mapping
  • Experience building and maintaining detailed program plans in tools such as Airtable or Jira

Cross-Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Proven ability to coordinate across 10+ engineering teams
  • Experience managing dependencies across orchestration, platform, and performance teams
  • Strong upward and lateral stakeholder management
  • Ability to influence without authority and build trust across organizations
  • Experience representing engineering progress, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership

Technical Aptitude

  • Comfortable leading technical architecture conversations
  • Ability to interpret architectural and design specifications
  • Backend and API familiarity required
  • Ability to translate technical input into realistic timelines and delivery strategies

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex identity and application platform initiatives
  • Translate high-level product briefs into executable delivery plans
  • Drive roadmap alignment, capacity planning, and prioritization
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and sequencing of work
  • Facilitate sprint ceremonies, planning sessions, and retrospectives
  • Track program health, metrics, risks, budgets, and mitigation strategies
  • Partner with engineering leads and product managers to ensure delivery against strategic objectives
  • Maintain visibility across multiple concurrent projects and prevent execution drift
  • Drive structured execution in fast-changing, high-growth environments
