Beacon Hill Legal’s client, a digital bank and fintech company, is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Loan Closing Associate for an open ended contract assignment. The role is onsite four days a week in Midtown Manhattan and one day remote. The Commercial Real Estate Loan Closing Associate will support the execution and ongoing management of lending transactions. Prior loan closing or paralegal experience in commercial real estate finance is required.

Responsibilities:

• Support transaction execution by preparing, reviewing, and managing legal documentation (amendment letters, waiver requests, security documents, signature pages, etc.).
• Support due diligence processes, including insurance reviews, lease assessments, zoning report reviews, etc.
• Review term sheets, credit papers and draft loan documents for alignment of deal terms.
• Manage deal lists while maintaining status on all outstanding diligence needed to clear a loan for closing.
• Coordinate execution processes, including managing e-signature and wet-signing logistics.
• Use digital tools (including AI-enabled platforms) to streamline document review and transaction management.

Requirements:

• Prior commercial real estate leveraged or structured finance loan closing or paralegal experience in banking and finance law.
• Working knowledge of commercial real estate (CRE), commercial & industrial (C&I), and structured finance transactions (including note-on-note financings).
• Good drafting ability and comfort reviewing complex legal and regulatory documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with digital/AI tools a plus.
