Join a high-growth, venture-backed enterprise AI platform at a critical stage of scale as our next Technical Revenue Manager. In this high-impact seat, you will take full ownership of our global revenue accounting function from end to end. This is a foundational opportunity to build out the scalable processes, financial systems, and billing controls required for a rapidly evolving, cutting-edge technology business.

Operating at the intersection of technical accounting, specialized revenue recognition, and commercial operations, you will act as the go-to subject matter expert for complex enterprise contracts and automated billing streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the end-to-end monthly and quarterly financial close cycles for revenue and accounts receivable.
  • Function as the internal lead for complex ASC 606 revenue recognition across multi-element arrangements.
  • Oversee core accounting for diverse monetization structures, including subscription SaaS, tiered usage, and metered consumption models.
  • Manage day-to-day invoicing, global collections, deferred revenue schedules, and complex cash reconciliations.
  • Audit and reconcile raw telemetry/usage data against customer contracts, billing systems, and general ledger activity.
  • Collaborate directly with Sales Operations, Legal, and Finance to review and structure non-standard enterprise deals.
  • Lead preparation for financial audits, serving as the primary contact for external auditors regarding revenue metrics and historical data analysis.
  • Partner with IT to optimize and automate data pipelines running from CRM to billing engine to ERP.
  • Establish and document scalable internal controls, accounting policies, and revenue workflows.
  • Manage technical compliance and amortization schedules for contract acquisition costs and sales commissions under ASC 340

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 8+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience, with a heavy emphasis on dedicated revenue accounting ownership.
  • Expert-level mastery of ASC 606 principles and a strong working knowledge of ASC 340-40.
  • Proven experience managing financial operations for high-growth tech companies utilizing consumption-based, usage-tracked, or marketplace business models.
  • A foundational background in public accounting (Big 4 or regional mid-tier) coupled with corporate tech experience is highly preferred; active CPA license is a strong plus.
  • Hands-on exposure to tier-one CRM and enterprise billing environments (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, or specialized usage engines).
  • Advanced Excel capabilities with the ability to cleanly manipulate, audit, and analyze high-volume, complex datasets.

Highly comfortable navigating ambiguity, building workflows from scratch, and executing in a fast-moving startup culture
