Job Summary
Our client is seeking a detail oriented Staff Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month end close activities. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working with financial data.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations
* Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
* Review and reconcile bank and credit card statements
* Support financial reporting and preparation of financial statements
* Maintain accurate documentation of accounting records and transactions
* Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed
* Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* 3+ years of accounting or finance experience preferred
* Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with inventory and/or payroll
* ERP System experience
