Senior Accountant
Location: Kirkland, WA (On-site)

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of core accounting operations across multiple entities. This role is hands-on and highly visible, responsible for full-cycle accounting, payroll, accounts payable, cash management, and compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting experience along with the ability to manage recurring deadlines and improve processes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own month-end close, journal entries, and general ledger accuracy in QuickBooks
  • Manage accounts payable, weekly check runs, and vendor payments
  • Process payroll and oversee deductions including 401(k), garnishments, and benefits
  • Handle sales tax filings, workers’ comp reporting, and other compliance activities
  • Perform bank reconciliations and actively manage cash flow and account balances
  • Support multi-entity accounting, including intercompany transactions
  • Maintain accurate financial records and partner with leadership on reporting and insights

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities
  • Strong experience with QuickBooks and Excel
  • Background in payroll, AP, reconciliations, and compliance
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting multiple entities
  • Exposure to 401(k) administration and payroll compliance

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $80,000 – $100,000 base salary
  • Performance-based bonus
