The Senior Portfolio Manager is responsible for driving business delivery across four core areas: Business Needs, Execution, Financials, and Value. This role partners closely with executive leadership, the PMO, and finance to ensure business milestones are clearly defined, actively managed, and delivered.

Key responsibilities include leading executive-level discussions to move both business and IT initiatives toward agreed milestones, capturing and tracking business deliverables, and ensuring alignment across workstreams. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with the PMO and finance teams on spend, run rate, budgeting, and forecasting, while also supporting business-focused project planning activities.

This role will lead one to two workstreams and is expected to run meetings confidently with senior leaders, presenting milestones, risks, mitigations, and financial insights. The position requires a strong understanding of stage gates, business requirements documentation, cost-benefit analysis, and high-level SDLC concepts.

Required Skills
-Proven experience driving executive-level conversations to progress business and IT milestones across Business Needs, Execution, Financials, and Value
-Strong understanding of PMO structures across multiple business areas
-Experience partnering with finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, spend, and run rate
-Ability to operate at a fast pace with extremely responsive turnaround times
-Strong understanding of budgets and financial governance
-Highly polished communication and presentation skills
-Professional presence and confidence in executive meetings
-Experience leading meetings and walking executives through reports, milestones, risks, and mitigations
-Understanding of stage gate processes and business requirements documentation
-Knowledge of cost-benefit analysis methodologies
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-High-level understanding of the SDLC
-Healthcare experience required, with strong knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare environments
