API Platform & Integration Engineering Manager

Hands-on technical leader responsible for driving enterprise API and integration strategy, leading global teams, and modernizing platforms across a cloud-native environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architects and onshore/offshore teams supporting enterprise API and integration platforms
- Oversee enterprise middleware / platform technologies and .NET/Java API ecosystems
- Drive API-first, microservices, SOA, and event-driven architecture practices
- Establish architecture standards, governance, and design reviews
- Partner with engineering, product, and security teams for aligned delivery
- Lead cloud modernization initiatives across Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Ensure platform stability, performance, and continuous improvement
- Promote automation, including AI-driven capabilities, and foster ongoing technical growth
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise middleware / platform technologies
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience
- Strong expertise in APIs, microservices, SOA, and enterprise integration patterns
- Experience with ESB platforms and API ecosystems (.NET or Java)
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture (Kafka, Event Hubs)
- Strong understanding of API security, SSO, OAuth, OIDC, and zero-trust concepts
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated continuous learning and engagement with modern technologies
