Project Superintendent

Location: Hayden, ID (On Site)
Job Type: Direct Hire, Full Time
Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 DOE
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead and oversee all phases of commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role serves as the on-site leader responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, ensuring quality standards, maintaining jobsite safety, and driving projects to successful completion.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with project stakeholders, and has a proven ability to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily construction activities and ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel throughout all project phases.
  • Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays, conflicts, or field issues.
  • Partner closely with Project Managers, architects, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Enforce jobsite safety standards, quality control measures, and compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates, documentation, and reporting as required.
  • Review project deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
  • Resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively while minimizing project disruptions.
  • Ensure projects are delivered with the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial construction, superintendent, foreman, or field leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans.
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations, building codes, and jobsite best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
