Location: Hybrid New Castle, DE – 3 days/week on site required
We are seeking an experienced Desktop Platform Technical Lead with deep expertise in Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, and PowerShell. This individual will serve as the technical lead for the desktop and endpoint management environment, driving modern device management and endpoint lifecycle practices while providing hands-on technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and support of modern desktop and mobile device management (MDM) solutions using Windows 11, Microsoft Intune, and MECM/SCCM.
- Design and implement modern endpoint lifecycle management practices, from provisioning and configuration through ongoing support and retirement.
- Administer, operate, and maintain Microsoft SCCM/MECM environments, including Distribution Points and Cloud Management Gateway (CMG).
- Manage Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot environments for device provisioning, configuration, policy management, and administration.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to support endpoint administration, configuration, automation, and troubleshooting.
- Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for desktop and endpoint management technologies.
- Act as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex issues that cannot be resolved by Tier 1 or Tier 2 support teams.
- Troubleshoot complex desktop, device management, deployment, and endpoint configuration issues.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to other desktop and endpoint support resources.
Required
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune.
- Advanced experience administering and supporting SCCM/MECM.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
- Experience with Windows 11 endpoint environments.
- Experience with Windows Autopilot.
- Experience with SCCM Distribution Points and Cloud Management Gateway (CMG).
- Strong knowledge of modern endpoint management and device lifecycle practices.
- Previous experience serving as a technical lead.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex endpoint and desktop platform issues independently.
