This person will be responsible for network firmware testing, developing and executing test cases across Juniper and Nokia environments. The team is working through a significant backlog of firmware updates tied to security vulnerabilities, so this individual will help validate new firmware releases and get critical updates deployed more efficiently. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of network engineering experience and hands-on exposure to Juniper and Nokia firmware, with prior firmware testing experience being highly preferred. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, collaborative Network Engineer who is eager to learn and grow within a team-focused environment.
Key Qualifications:
- 1+ years of network engineering experience
- Experience with Juniper and Nokia networking/firmware. Must have Juniper or Nokia
- Firmware testing experience, including developing or executing test cases
- Strong team-player mentality with an eagerness to learn
- CCNA or other foundational networking certifications are a plus
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Testing and validating Juniper and Nokia firmware releases
- Establishing and executing firmware test cases
- Supporting firmware updates that address network security vulnerabilities
- Helping the team work through its existing firmware testing backlog
- Focusing on an assigned security-related network project
