Our client in West Chester is seeking a collections specialist on a temp to perm basis:
Job Description
* Monitor assigned accounts for past‑due invoices and review history to determine appropriate collection actions.
* Investigate payment discrepancies, request documentation, and resolve invalid or denied deductions.
* Contact customers proactively based on aging status or risk level and issue written collection correspondence.
* Document all collection activity and coordinate with internal teams to correct pricing or billing issues delaying payment.
* Prepare monthly aging updates, review commission reports, and initiate adjustments for uncollectible balances.
* Compile documentation for accounts requiring escalation to outside agencies and maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal departments.
