Our client in Monaca is seeking an accountant on a temp to perm basis:

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

• Perform monthly bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations

• Maintain and update the fixed asset subledger, including additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation schedules

• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes

• Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy and completeness

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed

• Monitor accruals, prepaid expenses, and other recurring entries

• Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company accounting policies

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 2+ years of accounting experience, including fixed asset accounting

• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger principles

• Proficiency with accounting software (ERP experience preferred) and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
