Investment Operations Quality Control Specialist Entry Level

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional for an opportunity within the financial services industry. This position is ideal for someone interested in building experience in investment operations, securities, and wealth management while supporting high-net-worth client accounts.

What You’ll Do

• Review and verify investment transactions and account activity for accuracy and completeness.
• Process and review monetary and non-monetary requests.
• Research and resolve transaction discrepancies and processing issues.
• Identify errors and trends and recommend solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Communicate with financial advisors when additional information or clarification is required.
• Monitor work queues and ensure requests are completed within established deadlines.
• Gain experience with new account setup, distributions, receipts, trade processing, model changes, and other investment transactions.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling client and account information.
• Participate in projects focused on improving operational processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of mutual funds, securities, investments, or financial services is a plus.
• Strong interest in learning investment management and financial operations.
