Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for a direct hire, permanent opportunity with our client in Sandy Springs. This is a full-time role, Monday – Friday, during standard business hours.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, ideally in a law firm setting. Essential duties include:
Case Management & Litigation Support
* Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including discovery, document production, and trial preparation.
* Draft, proofread, and format legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence.
* Manage case files and maintain organization of physical and electronic records. – We are paperless – no physical records
* Track and monitor case deadlines, hearings, and court schedules.
* Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel as needed.
Research & Documentation
* Conduct legal research using LexisNexis, or other databases.
* Review, analyze, and summarize discovery responses, medical records, and depositions.
* Assist in preparing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
* Support attorneys during hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
Compliance & Quality Control
* Ensure adherence to federal and state court rules, filing procedures, and deadlines.
* Maintain confidentiality and compliance with firm policies and ethical standards.
* Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness before submission.
