Staff Accountant
Location: Manalapan, NJ
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Salary: Up to $70,000
Overview
Beacon Hill is partnering with a growing company in Manalapan, NJ to hire a Staff Accountant. This hybrid role will support daily accounting operations and assist with month‑end close while working closely with the finance team.
Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries
Assist with month‑end and year‑end close
Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
Maintain general ledger accuracy and investigate variances
Assist with AP and AR functions as needed
Support preparation of financial statements and internal reports
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Provide audit support and documentation when required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
1-3+ years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of general ledger and month‑end close
Hands‑on experience with reconciliations
Proficiency in Excel
Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
