Senior Global Tax Consultant – Remote but local to Boston, MA
Our client, a global technology‑driven organization, is seeking a Senior Global Tax Consultant to support international tax compliance and vendor‑managed tax operations during a period of transition. This role will focus on overseeing outsourced tax work, maintaining compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and partnering with internal finance leadership to ensure continuity of global tax processes.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee global tax compliance activities across U.S. and international jurisdictions
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external tax advisors and outsourced service providers
  • Review and coordinate indirect tax filings
  • Support international expansion activities by assisting with entity registrations and ongoing compliance requirements
  • Monitor cross‑border tax considerations and assess potential exposure in new jurisdictions
  • Coordinate transfer pricing documentation and intercompany adjustments with third‑party advisors
  • Support income tax provision preparation and related audit walkthroughs
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of international tax experience
  • Active CPA required; Big 4 background required
  • Exposure to cross‑border or indirect tax compliance preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite, Avalara, or similar tax/accounting systems preferred
