A California-based law firm seeks an experienced Employment Litigation Assistant to support attorneys in a busy employment litigation practice. This fully remote position is available to candidates residing in California.
- Support three attorneys managing an active caseload of civil litigation matters by tracking intake, milestones, civil calendars, and deliverables to reduce deadline risk and keep matters moving.
- Conduct conflict checks and conflicts analysis for new intakes, then open and set up matters in ProLaw and NetDocs, ensuring accurate engagement records and reducing conflicts-related risk at intake.
- Review and maintain attorney calendars for accurate calendaring, reconciling deadlines, hearings, interviews, and internal due dates to improve calendar reliability and prevent missed or duplicative entries.
The ideal candidate will have strong litigation support experience, preferably within employment defense, and will be comfortable managing deadlines, court filings, attorney calendars, and litigation documents with a high degree of accuracy and independence.
