We are seeking a Project Engineer to support construction‑related activities within an active, operational environment. This role focuses on coordination, alignment, and execution support to ensure work progresses safely, efficiently, and in harmony with ongoing site operations.
The ideal candidate is comfortable operating at the intersection of engineering, operations, and construction-helping translate plans into action while navigating changing conditions, multiple stakeholders, and live facility constraints.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Serve as a coordination point for site‑based engineering and construction activities
- Support alignment across internal teams regarding upcoming work, impacts, and readiness
- Interface with external partners to help ensure work is executed according to plans and site requirements
- Maintain awareness of construction sequencing and operational considerations
- Assist with coordination of utilities, temporary conditions, and system interferences
- Monitor site activity for adherence to safety and access expectations
- Help surface risks, conflicts, or gaps and support issue resolution
- Contribute to schedule visibility, status communication, and documentation
- Support completion activities and transition to steady‑state operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting projects in an operating industrial or manufacturing setting
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple functions and priorities
- Familiarity with construction workflows, site safety, and utility coordination
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder‑management skills
Working Environment
This role includes time spent in office settings as well as active operational and construction areas. The environment may involve noise, equipment movement, and evolving site conditions. Adherence to safety, access, and operational protocols is required. Flexibility and situational awareness are important for success in this role.
