An Global law firm is seeking a Practice Assistant to provide high‑level administrative and client‑facing support to a group of attorneys and legal professionals. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail‑oriented legal support professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting attorneys with calendar management, document preparation, proofreading, phone coverage, and general administrative needs
- Coordinating meetings, court filings, travel arrangements, expense reports, and billing support
- Opening new matters, preparing engagement materials, and maintaining organized files and contact lists
- Assisting with CLE tracking, attorney renewals, and practice development initiatives
- Collaborating with other support staff and providing backup coverage as needed
- Managing printing, mail, shipping, and records retention
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (equivalent experience considered)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines
- Notary Public certification a plus
- Interest in supporting litigation-related practices preferred
