Our client, a leading property tax advisory firm located in northeast Austin, is seeking an ADMIN Level I professional to support staff and management with day-to-day administrative duties. This is a customer-facing administrative role based in supporting operations through data entry, phone management, document handling, and general administrative assistance. The environment is extremely fast-paced and requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills. Candidates ideally have strong data entry experience. This is a fully onsite role with an 8-6 schedule. Occasionally, there will be weekend work and other opportunities for overtime. This is a 3 month contract with the chance to extend.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer and transfer incoming phone calls

  • Perform administrative assignments (simple data entry; adding notes to client accounts)

  • Scan, label, and organize documents with minimal errors

  • Follow instructions for miscellaneous administrative projects (e.g., redacted agreements)

  • Assist with hearing file preparation

  • Serve as a runner when needed (e.g., picking up lunches)

  • Maintain reliability in attendance and task execution

  • Follow internal written policies, procedures, and time/PTO entry rules

  • Maintain strong attention to detail across all tasks

  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of administrative or customer service experience preferred

  • Experience handling data entry, and working within Excel spreadsheets
  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Comfortable using tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot

  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment

  • Strong organizational, reliability, and time-management skills
