Overview:
Beacon Hill’s client in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join their fast-paced logistics and order execution team. This is an entry-level, contract role through September with strong potential to convert to permanent. It’s ideal for graduates with a background in Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics who are detail-oriented and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support accurate and timely processing of customer orders through to final payment

• Monitor and resolve issues in the order lifecycle, including shipment exceptions and inventory reconciliation

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to manage inventory, pricing, and delivery coordination

• Maintain and update item-level and order-level data in internal systems

• Communicate with vendors, transportation providers, and distribution teams to troubleshoot order flow issues

• Assist in improving existing processes to drive efficiency

• Meet operational KPIs and ensure high levels of customer service

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or GED

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including light rotational evening and weekend support

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organization

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment

• Interest in continuous learning and process improvement

Additional Details:

• This is a fully onsite role based in Eden Prairie, MN

• One week per month may include light evening email monitoring and a few hours of weekend support

• Ideal stepping stone for someone pursuing a career in operations or supply chain management
