Our client, a leading technology company located in downtown Austin, TX, is seeking a Workplace Coordinator to provide hands-on, onsite support for employees, visitors, and vendors. This role serves as a daily point of contact for workplace needs, supports new hire onboarding, and helps maintain a welcoming, secure, and efficient office environment. The Workplace Coordinator will also assist with catering, office systems, inventory, and partnerships with internal teams to ensure operational excellence. This is a fast-paced, service-oriented work environment. The role is fully onsite, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and is a 1-year contract.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a daily resource for employee workplace inquiries (in-person and electronic)

  • Support new hire onboarding and Day One office experience

  • Assist employees with desk setup and general facilities needs

  • Support daily catering programs and office amenities

  • Manage office access, visitor check-ins, and badge procedures

  • Help maintain workplace safety and security standards

  • Manage desk reservations and office check-ins using capacity tools

  • Oversee office inventory including supplies, pantry, and restrooms

  • Track office expenses and support budget accuracy

  • Partner with Culture and IT teams to support events and onsite technical needs

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience supporting office operations, hospitality, or workplace coordination

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong customer service and employee-facing mindset

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving

  • Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments

  • Calm under pressure with strong judgment and emotional intelligence

  • Able to work independently and communicate effectively with remote stakeholders
