Our client, a leading financial services firm located in Austin, TX, is seeking an HR Coordinator to support HR operations and talent coordination during a period of growth. This role will manage onboarding/offboarding, compliance tracking, training coordination, and administrative HR processes while supporting both the Head of HR and Chief Talent Officer. The environment is collaborative, fast‑paced, and highly operational. This is a full‑time, onsite, direct hire role with a 8:30-5:30 schedule and overtime eligibility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including interviews, background checks, badges, equipment, desk setups, and first‑day support

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews across departments

  • Manage background checks and refreshes (ClearStar) and escalate flagged issues to HR leadership

  • Prepare and distribute new hire communications and training materials

  • Track and archive performance review documentation and follow‑ups

  • Maintain TriNet employee records and generate HR reports and dashboards

  • Manage compliance initiatives such as anti‑harassment training and handbook acknowledgements

  • Support benefits questions, open enrollment, and 401(k) communications

  • Assist with talent dashboards, headcount reporting, DDQs, and intern/analyst programs

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of HR or HR‑adjacent experience

  • Financial services industry experience strongly preferred

  • High level of judgment, discretion, and professionalism

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills

  • Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint)

  • Comfort working in a highly administrative, operational HR role

  • Strong communication and customer‑service mindset

  • Curious, growth‑oriented, and open to using AI and new tools
