Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist

A growing company in Portland is looking for an Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist to join the team on a temporary, long-term basis, with strong potential for the right person.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, likes to stay organized, and wants to be part of a team where their work will make an immediate impact. The right Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist will bring a positive attitude, solid work ethic, and a willingness to jump in and help where needed.
As the Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist, you will work alongside a team helping to support:
- Customer billing
- Invoice preparation and processing
- Entering receipts and posting payments
- Cash application support
- Account reconciliations
- Researching and resolving billing discrepancies
- Following up on outstanding balances
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Various related accounts receivable and billing duties as needed
This is a fully in-office opportunity in Portland.
To be considered for this specific position, you would need:
- 1-2+ years of accounts receivable and/or billing experience
- Strong data entry and accuracy skills
- Basic Excel skills
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
