A growing Maryland firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join its highly regarded transactional practice.
This is an opportunity to handle sophisticated deals for developers, investors, lenders, and closely held businesses while enjoying the resources of a full-service platform and a more sustainable quality of life than many larger firms can offer.
The firm is intentionally flexible on structure and will consider candidates at the Senior Associate, Of Counsel, or Junior Partner level. Whether you’re pursuing partnership, looking to step away from the pressures of Big Law, or seeking a long-term senior attorney role focused on deal work rather than business generation, the firm is open to different career paths.
The Opportunity
- Lead acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing matters, and development transactions from inception through closing
- Work directly with sophisticated clients and take ownership of deals
- Collaborate with an established team that supports a wide range of commercial real estate and business clients
- Build meaningful client relationships without the expectation of bringing a large portable book
Qualifications
- 7+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and deal management skills
- Experience representing developers, owners, lenders, investors, or closely held businesses
- Maryland bar admission preferred; D.C. and Virginia admissions are a plus
