The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a proactive and experienced professional who will deliver strategic and operational HR support across the organization. This role provides guidance on performance management, employee relations, compensation, talent development, recruitment, and policy interpretation. The HRBP serves as a trusted advisor to leaders, offering coaching, ensuring compliance, and helping drive a positive and productive workplace culture.
Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior HR leadership to design and implement strategic people initiatives.

Partner with managers and employee groups to support labor‑related matters, including interpreting collective agreements, resolving grievances, managing disciplinary actions, and promoting employee engagement while maintaining compliance with employment regulations.

Advise leaders on employee relations issues, coaching, performance management, career development, and the application of company policies and employment laws.

Provide expert guidance on federal and state employment regulations to ensure organizational compliance.

Foster an environment where employees feel comfortable raising concerns and discussing workplace issues.

Support talent acquisition and retention efforts, with emphasis on building diverse and inclusive teams.

Conduct new hire and exit interviews, analyze trends, and provide insights to leadership. Assist with onboarding and orientation processes.

Contribute to the administration of performance evaluations, employee development programs, and initiatives to enhance team effectiveness.

Facilitate resolution of workplace concerns, including ethics matters and formal grievances.

Represent the organization, when appropriate, in negotiations, investigations, and mediation processes.

Build strong relationships across corporate and field teams to support organizational goals.

Partner with business leaders on strategic planning and workforce initiatives.

Strengthen the effectiveness of HR service delivery across the organization.

Provide perspective and challenge to drive improvements in talent, performance, leadership development, and DE&I efforts.

Work closely with HR leadership and the broader HR team.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This is an individual contributor role.

The HRBP provides leadership through influence, coaching, and expert HR guidance.
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

Broad HR experience across multiple disciplines in a dynamic environment.

Strong capabilities in talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational development.

Valid driver’s license (if travel is required).

Ability to travel within assigned regions.

Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills.
-
Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
-
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
-
PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
-
Solid understanding of employment law, HR policies, and best practices.

Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
-
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience; OR advanced degree with 2+ years; OR 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Working Conditions
-
Primarily office‑based with occasional travel to other sites as needed.
-
Ability to work in various physical positions, including sitting, standing, and walking.
-
Up to 20% travel may be required.
