Job Title: Manufacturing / Production Engineer
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Manufacturing/Production Engineer to support program and project requirements through the development of equipment and tooling solutions for production systems. This role involves analyzing technical data, supporting production readiness, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support evaluation of program and project requirements and assist in developing equipment and tooling concepts for production systems
- Compile and analyze technical data to assess impacts on product design and production rates
- Ensure compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic, and regulatory standards
- Support validation of contractual performance milestones and maintain configuration control processes
- Participate in technical reviews and contribute to planning for production readiness, preventative maintenance, and spare parts management
- Deliver training to production and maintenance personnel
- Develop and implement workarounds as needed and maintain configuration of hardware, software, and documentation
- Support studies related to asset disposition and lifecycle planning
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
- Degree must be from an ABET-accredited institution (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office and standard office tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Model-Based Definition (MBD)
- Experience using CATIA, ENOVIA, or Product Data Management (PDM) systems
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience providing product definition and technical support to internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle
