We’re hiring a Senior Accountant for a company in Central Phoenix to support investment-level accounting within a real estate/private equity environment. This role partners closely with leadership on month-end close, financial reporting, and portfolio performance, while operating with strong independence. This is a contact position paying between $40-$50/hr
Responsibilites:
- Support full-cycle month-end and quarter-end close
- Prepare and review investment-level financials and GAAP adjustments
- Reconcile cash activity and balance sheet accounts
- Analyze investment performance and prepare reporting packages
- Manage accounting for debt, accruals, property taxes, and insurance
- Assist with valuations, rollforwards, and audit/tax support schedules
- Support acquisitions, dispositions, and new fund setups
- Monitor cash balances, liquidity, and capital activity
- Prepare lender reporting and assist with covenant calculations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of GAAP accounting experience (real estate or private equity preferred)
- Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- CPA or public accounting background (preferred)
