We’re hiring a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst for a company in Central Phoenix to support financial and SEC reporting within a real estate investment environment. This role partners closely with accounting, portfolio management, and investor relations to deliver accurate reporting, support portfolio analysis, and ensure GAAP compliance. This is a contract opportunity and will be hybrid.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and support SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and related disclosures)
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting for leadership
- Analyze real estate portfolio performance and key metrics
- Review asset-level financial reporting and ensure accuracy
- Support preparation of earnings materials, investor presentations, and reporting packages
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Assist with technical accounting research and application of new guidelines
- Support valuation processes, including investment and debt schedules and rollforwards
- Partner with audit teams during quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Support process improvements, reporting automation, and data analytics initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (MAcc or advanced degree preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting, financial reporting, or audit experience
- Public accounting or SEC reporting experience preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
- CPA or progress toward CPA (preferred)
- Strong communication and ability to work cross-functionally
