Veterinary Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to process and analyze veterinary patient samples while operating high-throughput laboratory equipment. You will perform various laboratory tests, including urinalysis, hematology, and parasite identification, and collaborate with team members to meet operational demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and analyze veterinary patient samples.

• Operate high-throughput lab equipment and perform microscopy tasks.

• Utilize Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and interface with various technologies.

• Maintain a clean and organized lab environment while adhering to safety protocols.

• Properly dispose of hazardous materials and manage inventory.

• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.

• Participate in continuous improvement and training programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or veterinary setting.

• Proficiency in hematology, chemistry, coagulation, immunoassay, and urinalysis.

• Experience with lab systems like Siemens Advia, Siemens Immulite, Beckman AU, or Novus.

• Strong IT skills and familiarity with LIS or LIMS.

• Excellent communication skills.
