- Support the development and decomposition of complex system architectures using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and SysML models.
- Define system functions, interfaces, requirements allocations, and interactions across multiple engineering disciplines and domains.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop, review, and deliver systems engineering artifacts and program documentation.
- Develop and manage Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring alignment with technical objectives, program requirements, and customer expectations.
- Analyze and assess changes to requirements, scope, and program baselines while performing impact assessments on cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to maintain program alignment and resolve technical and programmatic obstacles.
- Support verification, validation, certification, and acceptance testing activities across laboratory, ground, and flight test environments.
- Facilitate the implementation and adoption of MBSE practices within a broader digital engineering ecosystem.
- Provide technical leadership and integration support across engineering disciplines to ensure successful program execution.
- Support technical reviews, risk management activities, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the system lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of engineering experience supporting systems engineering, architecture development, testing, verification, validation, or related technical programs.
- 3+ years of experience utilizing MBSE methodologies, SysML, Cameo, MagicDraw, or similar model-based engineering tools.
- Experience with systems engineering functions including requirements development, functional decomposition, system design, analysis, integration, verification, and validation.
- Experience supporting certification, acceptance, laboratory, ground, or flight test activities and developing technical documentation across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Knowledge of program baseline management, technical reviews, requirements management, risk assessment, and performance metrics tracking.
- Understanding of complex system architecture development and engineering considerations including reliability, maintainability, safety, security, testability, human systems integration, and mission assurance.
