Position Summary
Beacon Hill is seeking an Event Marketing Specialist to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of trade shows, industry events, sales training programs, and promotional initiatives. This role is responsible for managing event strategy from concept through execution, overseeing logistics and vendor relationships, supporting training initiatives, and ensuring successful event outcomes.
Position Details
- Pay Rate: $27.00-$34.50 per hour
- Schedule: Monday-Friday; flexible schedule between 7:00 AM-6:00 PM
- Work Arrangement: Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain trade show and event calendars across multiple business channels
- Plan, coordinate, and execute trade shows, conferences, and marketing events from start to finish
- Develop event timelines, budgets, objectives, deliverables, and resource plans
- Coordinate event logistics, venue relationships, vendor partnerships, shipments, and promotional materials
- Manage inventory of event materials, branded merchandise, and giveaways
- Support pre-event marketing activities and post-event follow-up efforts
- Evaluate event performance and communicate recommendations for continuous improvement
- Develop reporting and metrics to track event effectiveness and ROI
- Collaborate with sales leaders to coordinate training initiatives and onboarding support for sales representatives
- Manage training schedules and support programs for new sales team members
- Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Create, organize, and distribute training materials within the LMS platform
- Serve as the primary contact for promotional product and gear program vendors
- Conduct regular vendor meetings to review inventory, orders, and open projects
- Partner effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 4-6 years of experience planning and executing trade shows, events, and industry conferences
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience managing multiple projects, timelines, budgets, and vendors simultaneously
- Strong event planning and logistics coordination experience
- Knowledge of training administration and Learning Management Systems preferred
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills with experience measuring event performance and ROI
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform well under pressure
