Vice President of Commercial Business Operations
Location: Plymouth, MN (100% Onsite)
Pay Rate: $110,000 – $125,000 a year DOE
Position Type: Permanent employee
Start Date: Determinded once filled
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Staff Development
- Provide direction, coaching, and mentorship to Commercial Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Estimators.
- Facilitate ongoing professional development programs and lead monthly operational meetings.
- Evaluate individual performance, identify growth opportunities, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with company leadership on talent acquisition, interviewing, onboarding, and employee development initiatives.
Operational Management
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure projects are completed efficiently, successfully, and within profitability goals.
- Oversee contract review, project execution strategies, client communications, and financial performance.
- Drive process standardization, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement efforts across the department.
- Maintain a strong understanding of RFMS, Schedule Pro, Measure, and other relevant business systems.
Strategic Planning
- Contribute to organizational planning and help evaluate new business opportunities, investments, and growth initiatives.
- Support long-term business strategies through leadership development, culture enhancement, and operational alignment.
- Work closely with executive leadership to achieve company objectives and future growth goals.
Client & Industry Partnerships
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients, contractors, architects, vendors, and other industry stakeholders.
- Address concerns and resolve challenges in a professional manner while preserving customer confidence and long-term partnerships.
- Serve as a key representative of the organization within the industry and business community.
