Our client, a leading global consulting firm located in downtown Houston, is seeking a Office Services Associate to support day-to-day office operations and front desk activities. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for employees and visitors while assisting with administrative and office services tasks. The role requires a dependable, customer-focused professional who enjoys supporting a team and maintaining an organized office environment. This is an on-site, 4 month contract working Tuesday through Thursday, for 24 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist visitors, guests, and employees in a professional manner
* Manage front desk operations and maintain a welcoming office environment
* Answer and direct incoming phone calls and inquiries
* Provide administrative support to office leadership and staff as needed
* Assist with office services and day-to-day operational tasks
* Coordinate meeting room readiness and support office events when needed
* Perform data entry and maintain basic spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
* Support office organization, filing, and document management activities
* Assist with scheduling and general administrative requests
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily office operations
Qualifications:
* Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, office coordinator, or customer service experience preferred
* Strong reliability and attendance record
* Professional verbal and written communication skills
* Friendly, helpful, and team-oriented attitude
* Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and basic Excel functions
* Comfortable entering and maintaining data within spreadsheets
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
* High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred but not required
