Beacon Hill Financial is seeking a 100% remote Life Underwriting Sr. Analyst. This is a long-term contract through December 2027 offering up to $41/hour (DOE).
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate life insurance risks and provide preliminary underwriting assessments
- Review medical histories and common impairments
- Deliver quick quote opinions while meeting production turnaround expectations
- Communicate underwriting rationale to advisors and business partners
- Educate field partners on underwriting tools and risk assessment
- Document decisions and manage multiple requests simultaneously
Key Requirements:
- Life insurance underwriting experience
- Swiss Re experience required
- Knowledge of underwriting classes and risk assessment
- Understanding of medical impairments including diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea, cardiac conditions, cancer history, and mental health
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Experience with underwriting tools, Outlook, and shared mailboxes
