Our client in the Dallas, TX area is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join their team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead inventory reconciliation activities across multiple locations and systems
- Analyze high-volume transactional and accounting data to identify discrepancies and trends
- Research and resolve inventory and financial variances with a sense of urgency
- Support accurate financial reporting through detailed account analysis and reconciliations
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and other internal stakeholders to improve processes and controls
- Provide meaningful reporting and insights that support business decision-making
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and continuous process improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, inventory accounting, operational accounting, financial analysis, or a related area
- Background in inventory accounting, operational finance, supply chain accounting, or high-volume reconciliations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP
- Exposure to BI and automation tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, or related technologies
