Contract HR Coordinator

Location: Full-Time Onsite (Maple Grove, MN)
Compensation: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on previous experience

Contract Length: Long-term contract with potential to go permanent based on performance and work volume

Beacon Hill’s client is seeking a motivated and adaptable HR Coordinator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their day, and is eager to jump in wherever support is needed. The ideal candidate is a true “utility player” with a strong work ethic, a sense of urgency, and a willingness to tackle both administrative tasks and employee-facing responsibilities with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble interview packets, onboarding materials, and new hire documentation.
  • Support new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Welcome and assist new hires and visitors at the front desk.
  • Utilize the organization’s badging system to create and print employee badges.
  • Enter and maintain employee training records with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and updates within the HRIS system.
  • Coordinate a variety of HR administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
  • Help maintain common office areas and employee amenities, including stocking and organizing supplies.
  • Provide general support to the HR team and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
  • Step into new tasks as needed and contribute wherever support is required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an HR Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, Office Coordinator, Recruiting Coordinator, or similar support role.
  • Strong computer skills and confidence learning new systems and technology.
  • Comfortable navigating HRIS platforms, databases, and data entry tools.
  • Ability to work independently and gather information with limited direction.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
  • Dependable, proactive, and willing to take initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
