Beacon Hill is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Payroll Accountant to support payroll operations and related accounting functions. This role will work closely with both the Finance and Human Resources teams to ensure accurate payroll processing, timekeeping compliance, and payroll-related accounting activities for approximately 150 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and support semi-monthly payroll cycles
- Review employee time and attendance records using ADP Workforce Manager, including time-off requests and payroll approvals.
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now (WFN) for payroll processing and reporting.
- Prepare payroll-related journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensuring compliance with company pay practices and policies.
- Partner closely with HR and Finance on payroll, benefits, and employee compensation matters.
- Assist with payroll audits, reporting, and special projects as needed.
- Process payroll for union and non-union employees.
Qualifications:
- Recent hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Manager and ADP Workforce Now required.
- Strong payroll accounting experience, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
