Job Description
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain software test plans, test cases, and test procedures for complex software applications and mission-critical systems.
- Perform automated, integration, system, and functional testing to verify software performance, reliability, and compliance with requirements.
- Support the development and enhancement of test automation frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, systems engineers, and other stakeholders to identify, document, and resolve software defects.
- Participate in software quality assurance activities, including test strategy development, test execution, defect tracking, and product quality assessments.
- Create, review, edit, and maintain technical documentation, test reports, verification artifacts, and engineering deliverables in accordance with established standards.
- Support software deployment, fielding, maintenance, and sustainment efforts while contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience supporting software testing, quality assurance, software development, or automated testing activities on technical or engineering-focused projects.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, integration, system, regression, and automated testing practices.
- Experience developing or maintaining software using one or more programming languages such as C#, .NET, C, C++, Java, Python, or similar technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot software issues, analyze test results, and identify root causes of defects in complex systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams and interact with customers or stakeholders.
- Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
