This IT PM will support a finance-heavy retail transformation initiative, focused on POS-to-financial system integrations. The role requires strong understanding of retail transaction data flows, ERP environments (SAP preferred), and coordination between US and UK teams.

ONLY CONSIDERING CANDIDATES WITH RETAIL-POINT OF SALE (POS) EXPERIENCE!!!

This is not an infrastructure role. This is a retail financial systems integration PM.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate finance-related IT initiatives
  • Manage POS data integrations into backend financial systems
  • Oversee mapping of transaction data into ERP (SAP preferred)
  • Partner with Finance, IT, Data, and UK stakeholders
  • Run project cadence meetings and status reporting
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and financial impact
  • Ensure data validation and reconciliation controls are built into testing
  • Support business case tracking and budget oversight
  • Coordinate vendors and internal teams

Required Skills:

  • Experience in fuel, food, retail or hospitality
  • Proven IT Project Management experience in retail environments
  • Strong exposure to retail finance systems
  • Experience managing data integration initiatives
  • Understanding of data mapping
  • Understanding of POS transaction flows into:
    • Sales audit
    • General ledger
    • Revenue recognition
    • Settlement systems
  • ERP platforms (SAP strongly preferred)
  • Experience working with Finance stakeholders
  • Comfortable managing cross-regional coordination

Desired/Preferred Skills:

  • PMP Cert
  • Scrum Master Cert
  • Agile Cert

Soft Skills Required:

  • Proactive and self-driven: Ability to take initiative, work autonomously, and deliver results with minimal oversight.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills: Must excel at building relationships with stakeholders/vendors and negotiating timelines, resources, and priorities.
