Calling all Payroll Professionals! Our client in the South King County area is seeking an experienced Payroll Accountant to join their team on a contract basis. If you enjoy payroll processing, reporting, compliance, and working in a collaborative accounting environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities include:
- Processing biweekly and monthly payroll
- Preparing payroll reports and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Assisting with payroll tax reporting and year-end W-2 preparation
- Preparing payroll-related journal entries and reconciliations
- Coordinating with HR regarding benefits, compensation, and employee payroll matters
- Supporting audits and special projects as needed
This is an onsite opportunity working alongside a dedicated payroll team within a large accounting department. The manager is approachable, supportive, and encourages questions.
To be considered, you should have:
- 3+ years of payroll experience from processing through payroll accounting/journal entries
- Strong payroll tax and compliance knowledge
- Dayforce experience is a plus
