Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Legal Professional Assistant (LPA) for a temporary assignment supporting our client, a Greenville, South Carolina-based law firm.
Our client is seeking a Legal Professional Assistant to provide critical litigation support during an active trial period. This fully onsite assignment is expected to last a minimum of 30 days and may continue for up to 90 days.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative and litigation support to an attorney preparing for and participating in trial.
- Assist with case management, document organization, and trial-related materials.
- Support Professional Negligence and Product Liability matters, including medical malpractice cases.
- Manage and maintain legal files, pleadings, correspondence, and case documentation.
- Coordinate deadlines and assist with litigation workflow in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure efficient case support.
Qualifications:
- Litigation experience is required.
- Experience supporting attorneys through trial preparation and trial proceedings is required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage confidential information professionally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal support software.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday.
- Standard business hours.
- Fully onsite.
