Real Estate Senior Fund Accountant

Senior Fund Accountant opportunity in Minneapolis. This is a long-term contract with potential to join their accounting team and make an impact in a highly visible position. Schedule is 4 days in office, Friday work from home with parking paid by the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
* Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
* Perform fund-level accounting, consolidations, and intercompany accounting
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
* Review multiple entity financial activity and ensure accurate reporting
* Support audit, tax, and compliance requirements
* Partner with finance, asset management, and leadership teams on reporting and analysis
What They’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of accounting experience
* Fund accounting experience required
* Strong background in consolidations and multi-entity accounting
* Experience with budgeting and intercompany transactions
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
* Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
* Yardi experience is a plus
* Comfortable in a growing environment where processes continue to evolve
