We are seeking a Budget Analyst to support marketing budget management, forecasting, invoice tracking, and financial reporting for a major entertainment organization. This role partners closely with media, creative, marketing, and finance teams to provide clear visibility into spending and ensure budgets are accurately tracked and reported.
Responsibilities
- Analyze marketing spend and provide budget snapshots and financial insights to key stakeholders
- Prepare budget forecasts and expense reporting for senior leadership
- Track invoices and expenses against approved marketing budgets
- Consolidate monthly expense forecasts across multiple teams
- Build and maintain budget trackers, reporting tools, templates, and dashboards
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end reconciliations
- Partner cross-functionally with media, creative, marketing, and finance teams
- Improve budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 4-5+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or related experience
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and invoice/expense reporting experience
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
- Experience managing large datasets, spreadsheets, trackers, and forecasting models
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams
- Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- SQL experience
- Tableau or similar dashboard/reporting experience
- Experience supporting marketing, media, or entertainment-related budgets
