Associate Counsel – Commercial Real Estate (Atlanta)

Our client, a growing real estate development company, is seeking an Associate Counsel to join its legal team in Atlanta. This is a hands-on role for an attorney with strong commercial real estate experience who enjoys working closely with the business and wants to build or continue an in-house career.

The attorney will handle a broad mix of real estate transactional work, including acquisitions, development, leasing, financing and related due diligence. The role will also involve coordinating with outside counsel while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day details of transactions.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of commercial real estate experience; development experience and data center deals are particularly of interest
• Prior law firm experience required; strong law firm training preferred
• Experience with acquisitions, leasing, lending/financing and real estate due diligence
• Developer-side experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to handle both sophisticated deal work and detailed transactional responsibilities
• Practical, collaborative and personable approach to working with business teams

The position is based in Atlanta with an in-office schedule of approximately 3-4 days per week. Relocation may be considered for the right candidate.

• Base salary up to $200,000 plus bonus, benefits, 401k
