A Beacon Hill client, a growing corporate services organization in Basking Ridge, NJ, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering stability and growth potential within a collaborative accounting department. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing AR operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring timely collections. The pay rate is $50-$55/hour, depending on experience. Candidates must have prior AR leadership experience.
Position Summary:
* Manage day-to-day Accounts Receivable operations, including billing, collections, and cash application
* Supervise and mentor AR staff, ensuring productivity and accuracy
* Monitor aging reports and drive collection efforts to reduce DSO
* Partner with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and client issues
* Develop and implement AR policies, procedures, and process improvements
* Prepare AR reporting and metrics for leadership review
* Assist with month-end close activities related to receivables
* Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls
Technical Qualifications:
* 2-5+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
* CPA license preferred or currently in progress
* Strong background in billing, collections, and cash applications
* Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
* Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs required)
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
