Established Atlanta law firm seeks a Litigation Paralegal with 3+ years of experience to support attorneys handling a broad range of defense litigation matters.
This role offers hands-on involvement throughout the litigation process, along with some legal administrative support. While time is tracked, there is no billable hour requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to requests
- File documents electronically in state and federal courts
- Conduct legal research
- Prepare exhibits and trial materials
- Maintain calendars and litigation deadlines
- Support cases through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation
- Manage case files and enter documents into the firm database
- Communicate case status updates to attorneys and relevant parties
