Position Overview

Beacon Hill Financial is partnering with a nonprofit organization to identify a Grant Billing Specialist to support their finance team. This role will focus on grant invoicing, reimbursement tracking, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements in a grant-funded environment.

This is a hybrid, temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent role for the right fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Review grant and contract activity to ensure expenses align with approved budgets and funding requirements
• Prepare and submit grant invoices, including compiling supporting documentation for reimbursement
• Review expenses and apply appropriate billing and cost allocations
• Track grant receivables and revenue activity, including maintaining schedules and performing reconciliations
• Maintain billing timelines, reports, and documentation to support audits and internal reviews
• Partner with program teams to ensure timely and accurate invoicing
• Communicate with funding agencies and external partners to resolve billing or reimbursement questions
• Support additional finance-related tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Experience working in a nonprofit or grant-funded environment
• Familiarity with reimbursement-based grants or contracts
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
